VOLTA WHEELCHAIR BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION CONGRATULATES ALL STAKEHOLDERS
The Local Organizing Committee of the Wheelchair basketball Federalism at the just ended maiden edition of the Republic Day Championship held in the Volta Regional Capital Ho, use this opportunity to appreciate all stakeholders who made the games a great success.
Our appreciation won’t be complete without a special mention of the Volta Regional Director of Sports Authority, Mr Ampofi Junior who defy all odds to support in diverse ways and personally involved throughout the planning of the games till it’s final closure.
The chairman of the VWBA Chairman Hon. James Gunu, you are such an anchore that holds the Volta Region executive of the VWBA together through thick and thin.
The Commander of the Ghana Prisons Service, Deputy Director of Prisons, Mr. Victor Agbelengor, Your enormous support and partnership is highly commendable.
The various regional teams, Northern, Ashanti, Greater Accra and the Brong Ahafo which demonstrated a great commitment and sense of purpose in ensuring absolute peace and unity in the championship we say we are proud of you. To the winning Brong Ahafo team, your determination and hard work indeed yielded the needed result.
The national executive committee of the federation led by the chairman Mr Max Vardon and the entire technical team, we say ayekooo for been there for us when we needed you most.
This tournament afforded the Volta Region a great opportunity to rise up to the task of constituting a formidable team that will compete competitively next year in due course. During the tournament I must say some individuals came to register to be part of the Volta Regional team which to us is a strong indication of the positive impact the tournament had on us.
To our close friends in the media, we can’t thank you enough for your continues support. You are a partner and we hope to strengthen this relationship in the coming days.
To all who participated in one form or the other, we sincerely appreciate you for your show of love and support.
