Braves of Customs and Ghana Police Service continue to hold onto the top two spots in the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division I.
Following the end of games over the past weekend, the pair won respective games against Ghana Fire Service and DC Dynamics at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu.
Braves clinched a 73-50 win over Fire to stretch its unbeaten run in this year’s campaign to 11 wins which is the best run thus far in the league.
The defending champions have 22 points for their efforts and well on course to qualify to the postseason as the first seed.
Police stayed in second place thanks to a 70-43 win over are in line to finish this season in last place in the standings.
The win is Police’s seventh in 11 appearances and gives the side 18 points and a goal difference of 84 which is crucial in separating Police from its closest rival.
Adenta Leopards and Tema Youth have the same points in third and fourth respectively while DC and Prisons are in the bottom two spots. Below is a full breakdown of the standings:
