Accra Basketball League (ABL) Women’s Division leaders Ghana Police Service stayed put at the summit of the division following the conclusion of games in the just ended round.
Police holds 16 points and has won all eight games played this season to pace the league in the ongoing campaign; the team is the only unbeaten side this season.
The team clinched a close 55-51 win over Reformers of Prisons at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu in the past round.
Losing to Police is Reformers third of the season and sees the side in third place with 11 points from seven games played.
Prisons are just a point behind defending league champions Braves of Customs who have lost twice this season and are second on the table.
Both Customs losses came at the hands of Police but Braves have played seven games compared to Police and a win in its next game reduces the gap to two points.
