Ghana Center Amida Brimah has put an end to a bad run of form in the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas in San Antonio Spurs loss to Portland Trailblazers.
Spurs lost 89-95 to Portland in the team’s third game in Las Vegas; the loss gives San Antonio’s a win in three games played so far.
The team, will be in action on Thursday July 12 against Milwaukee Bucks and Brimah will be looking to repeat his impressive outing against Portland.
In 16 minutes off the bench, the shot blocking defender recorded nine points, nine rebounds, an assist and two blocks.
Brimah missed out on what would have been his first double double since the preseason competition started in Utah last month.
Prior to the game, Amida had endured two frustrating games in Las Vegas where recorded a point and went scoreless against Indiana Pacers and Washington Wizards respectively.
His rebound production paced all players in the game and three came via offensive rebounds; Brimah and former Sacramento Kings lottery pick Giorgios Papagiannis led the game in blocks.
