San Antonio Spurs have recovered from a 76-86 loss to Indiana Pacers to beat Washington Wizards in the ongoing NBA Summer League in Las Vegas.
Spurs clinched a 95-90 win over Wizards in its second appearance in the league giving the team its first win in two games.
Spurs take on Portland Trailblazers on Tuesday July 10 but heading to the final round of the preliminary stages of the league, Ghana’s Amida Brimah is yet to show up in Las Vegas.
Though the 6 foot 11 inch Center remains efficient on the court, his overall statistics have plummeted since nearly registering a double double in Spurs opening game against Utah Jazz in the Utah Summer League last month.
Against Washington, he played just a minute off the bench and went scoreless; he failed to register a rebound for the first time in this year’s Summer League.
In the previous game against Indiana, the former University of Connecticut player had one rebound and assist in 10 minutes off the bench.
He will be hoping for more playing time and more production against Portland tomorrow.
