The first year of the Dynamics School League has concluded with St. Martin De Porres School emerging winners in the Girls Division.
Alpha Beta Educational Complex won the top prize in the Boys Division after a series of league games involving several Junior High Schools in Ghana’s Greater Accra Region.
The likes of Ghana Christian High International School featured in the league and came second after falling 7-10 to Martin De Porres in the final game.
In the Boys Division, Alpha Beta came out on top in a field which had Martin De Porres and Ghana Christian High competing.
The program’s success in its maiden season has sparked interest and participating teams for the next edition are set to increase.
Plans are underway to stage the second season per reports reaching Basketballghana.com later this year; the program is an offshoot of DC Dynamics Basketball Club.
Dynamics Club competes in Ghana’s elite club basketball competition-Accra Basketball League- and runs similar youth driven exercises to build basketball interest in Ghana’s youth.
