Following a loss to Utah Jazz on the opening day of competition in the 2018 Utah Summer League, San Antonio Spurs have responded with a win.
The team beat Atlanta Hawks 103-81 in the second of three games San Antonio is scheduled to play in Utah before departing for the Las Vegas Summer League.
Ghana Center Amida Brimah came off the bench to register eight points, 11 rebounds, and assist, a steal and two blocks in the win.
Brimah played 17 total minutes off the bench after starting against Utah and playing 21 minutes; against Atlanta, he played behind London Perrantes.
The 2017-2018 NBA Gatorade League Champion and Regular Season Lead Shot Blocker, converted four of seven shots from the field but attempted no free throws.
Spurs concludes its participation in the Utah League on Thursday, July 5 against Memphis Grizzlies where Brimah will be matched up against fourth overall pick this year, Jaren Jackson Jnr.
Atlanta Hawks Point Guard Trae Young registered 12 points and three assists; Spurs Guard Derrick White scored 21 points and had nine assists.
