Accra Basketball League (ABL) Representative Alex Kukula has stated hosting a league game at the Aviation Social Center is a “good advert” for the league.
Reformers of Prisons Men’s Division I game against Adenta Leopards was played today at the Center as one of the main attractions marking Hitz FM’s “Rep Your Jersey” event. The Lebanon House Court in Tudu and Prisons Court in Cantonments are this season’s league venues.
He made the statement in an exclusive interview with Basketballghana.com on the sideline of a raucous gathering at the multisport facility.
“Is a very very good experience and a very good advert for our league. We’ve had the opportunity to come when there is a big program and actually introduce our league to the general public” he said.
Leopards beat Reformers 88-79 to clinch its fourth straight in the ABL while Prisons lost its second game on the bounce after falling to Tema Youth 64-66 in the past round.
The game was the last in Week 7.
