Partizan NIS has secured a great start to the Serbian Basketball League quarterfinals by beating Mega Bemax 97-68.

Ghana Center Amida Brimah was in the mix for Partizan as he recorded seven points in just eight minutes excelling once again in efficiency.

The former University of Connecticut Captain added two rebounds to his tally off the bench for Partizan in its opening game of the best of three game series.

Brimah scored three of four shots from the field but his tally could have been higher had he been more efficient from the free throw line.

The 6 foot 11 inch Center scored just one of four attempts from the charity stripe in his limited time on the court.

However, teammate Sy Bandja got injured after a dunk and the extent of his injury will play a big role in Brimah’s minutes in this series.

Guard Djordje Gagic led Partizan with 16 points while Bemax’s Goga Bitadze had 17 points. Game 2 is on Thursday May 24.
