The seventh week in the 2018 Tema Basketball League season has concluded albeit controversially earlier tonight.
Three of four games scheduled played went down successfully with Nungua Coldstore, Tema Heat and Tema Community 2 clinching wins.
Heat recorded a 43-25 win over Tema Rockets while 2016 league champions Coldstore beat Teshie Rangers 57-45.
Coldstore clinched the win after a dominant final quarter the team led 21-9; that proved crucial as the score was close prior to the final quarter.
Tema Community 2 secured its second win of the season and the second straight win by getting past Akatsi Rifles via a 56-42 result.
However, the final game of the round and easily the biggest draw did not come to a sound conclusion as Ashaiman Lions forfeited its game against Tema Community 4 midway through the contest.
The tie was a rematch of the 2017 league final Community 4 won but Lions felt aggrieved after back to back technical fouls were called against the team leading the side to abandon the contest despite trailing 22-25.
