The Accra Basketball League (ABL) Women’s Division has a new leader in Reformers of Prisons following the conclusion of games in Week 6.
Prisons replace Ghana Fire Service as leaders of the division despite falling surprisingly to Dunks Club in the last game of the round.
Reformers fell 38-41 to Dunks to spot a record of two wins and three losses this season; Prisons is tied on seven points with Fire Service.
The pair has played the most games in the division and that has contributed to its high ranking in the standings.
Unbeaten Ghana Police and Braves of Customs are ranked third and fourth respectively but with six points apiece. The two teams have played the least number of games this season (3).
Customs Male and Female side are in Kenya honoring an international competition and are due in Ghana on May 26.
Tudu Galaxy is fifth and Dunks remain in sixth place despite clinching its first win of the season; both teams are on five points. Below is a breakdown of the standings:
