The game comes before Heat takes on Tema Rockets later today in the Tema Basketball League; the tie tips off at 15:30 GMT.
Police played in the Tema League last season and made it to the playoffs but exited in the first round after losing to Ashaiman Lions in the series.
This season, the team is focusing solely on competition in the Accra Basketball League Men’s Division I and has won all four games.
Beating the strong side is a big boost for a heat side looking to go a step beyond its third place finish in last season’s campaign.
Heat has three wins in five games this season and lies fifth in the standings with eight points after losing 30-35 to Francophone Stars in the last round of games.
Tema Rockets are yet to win a game all season.
