Greater Accra Basketball Association (GBBA) Deputy Chairman Andrew Ackah celebrates his birthday today; this is his first since he was voted into power last year.
The Advertising and Communications magnate has been in power since 2017 after sweeping the majority of votes in regional elections.
He is second in command in the Association’s hierarchy behind Chairman Ayitey Bulley with the latter replacing the deceased Benjamin Baafi.
Ackah and Bulley double as Deputy Chairman and Chairman of Ghana’s elite club basketball division-the Accra Basketball League.
Ackah is a former student of St. Augustine’s College and has been credited for the successful partnership between internationally renowned media outfit Dentsu Aegis and Ghana’s Adams Media and Planning Media.
In his first interview with Basketballghnaa.com shortly after being elected to office, Ackah called for support to develop the league to top international standards.
The 2018 ABL season has commenced and Week 6 games will be concluded later tonight at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu
Ghana’s leading basketball portal wishes Chairman Ackah best wishes.
