Nungua Warehouse Company Limited continues to make its presence known in Ghana’s main port City Tema following its latest move.
The company, which imports and distributes ethanol and industrial chemicals, recently funded the painting of the Tema Community 4 Basketball Court.
The project which overseen by members of the Tema Basketball League, had the court’s playing surface repainted with a dominant green colour.
The move per Chief Operating Officer of the company Wendell Otoo, is to aid the league’s improvement to attract sponsorship.
Nungua Warehouse Limited was recently awarded Golden Award for Quality and Business Prestige by the Global Trade Leaders Club.
This marks another major contribution from the organization to the development of basketball and Tema as the firm has been bankrolling league outfit Nungua Coldstore since the league’s inception in 2016.
Coldstore won the 2016 league title and has added more titles from coming out tops in league related competitions. The team is yet to be beaten in four games this season and is ranked fourth in the ten team league standings.
