Dunks Basketball Club will be in action tonight at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu against Reformers of Prisons in the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Women’s Division.
However, both teams head into the game needing a win as neither side clinched a win in its last appearance in the league.
Reformers lost 52-67 to Ghana Police while Dunks lost 31-70 to Police; that heavy loss was Dunks third loss in as many games this season.
Dunks is yet to win a game this season and sit in the bottom spot of the six team standings with just three points; Reformers are ranked two spots higher.
Despite losing to rival Police, Reformers has six points after posting two wins in four games; Prisons is also one of three teams on six points and a point behind league leaders Ghana Fire Service.
A win for Prisons could move them to a top two spot while avoiding a loss is crucial to Dunks chances of escaping the bottom ranks.
Police will be in action against Braves of Customs in the opening game at 16:00 GMT.
