Three teams had flawless records heading to the last weekend’s round of games; Tema Community , Nungua Coldstore and Ashaiman Lions.
However, following the conclusion of games, defending league champions Community 4’s unbeaten streak had ended courtesy a 27-39 loss to Francophone Stars.
Prior to meeting Francophone, C4 had won three straight games including a 50-20 win over Team Rockets but the streak is no more after Stars inflicted a big loss on them.
This means the only teams yet to taste defeat this season are Lions and Coldstore; both teams played in the 2016 Final Coldstore won.
Lions won its fourth game by beating Teshie Rangers 62-56 while Coldstore recorded a 68-39 win over Akasti Rifles for its third win in as many games.
Ashaiman made the finals last season but fell short again after C4 beat them twice to clinch the trophy in the best of three game series.
The league continues this Sunday May 13 at the Tema’s Chinese Court.
