Ghana Fire Service will be playing in the latest round of games in the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Women’s Division against Tudu Galaxy.
The game will be played at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu on Thursday May 10 with both teams heading to the fixture with just a win all season respectively.
Fire has won one in four games while Galaxy has a sole win in three games. Playing more games however puts Fire Service in third place ahead of Galaxy who are ranked fifth.
Galaxy did not play in the last round but Fire played and lost heavily to defending league champions Braves of Customs at the Prisons Court in Cantonments, Accra.
Fire 25-71 to Braves and much attention will be on the team’s ability to rebound from such a heavy defeat against home side Galaxy on Thursday.
Galaxy is under pressure to clinch its second win of the season to move up the standings. The game is the last of two fixtures scheduled to take place at Lebanon House.
Ghana Police take on Reformers of Prisons in the first game.
