Ghanaian players were in action in European playoff games as Amida Brimah and Reggie Agbeko featured in Serbia and Denmark respectively.
However, neither player was on the winning side marking a dark day for a couple of the country’s foreign based players.
Agbeko played for Horsens IC in the Danish League Finals Series against Bakken Bears but his side ended up losing 76-83.
The loss was in Game 4 of the series and ended Horsens hopes of winning the Danish league title; prior to the game, the 2015 Champions had lost the three previous games.
Agbeko registered lows in minutes and points in the series; he scored two points in eight minutes after registering nine points and six rebounds in Game 3.
In Serbia, Amida Brimah’s Partizan NIS lost 82-87 to FMP Beograd; the loss is Partizan’s first in the playoffs. The team rode a six game winning streak to the game.
Brimah missed out on scoring in double digits as he recorded eight points and two rebounds in 12 minutes.
