Accra Technical University (ATU) Male Basketball Team Captain Abdul Mutaleeb Alhassan has expressed his displeasure when he losses a game.
He made the statement in connection to ATU’s recent loss in the Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges (UPAC) Basketball Championship final game.
ATU lost 36-41 to University of Ghana (UG) in the 2018 edition despite holding a ten point lead at a certain point in the game.
The loss is ATU’s second to UG at the same stage following a two pint loss to UG in the 2016 Final which was UG’s first of three straight UPAC titles.
“I don’t like to lose I hate losing” he said in an interview on “Courtside” which aired on Ghana channel Kwese Free Sports this week.
Alhassan and fellow Captain Suleman Abubakar will not return to the program as the pair is set to graduate later this year.
However, Alhassan was on the winning side in the Accra Basketball League Men’s Division I as his his Braves of Customs side beat Reformers of Prisons 72-54.
