Ghana born French Point Guard Billy Yakuba Ouattara has returned to AS Monaco per reports gathered by Basketballghana.com
He is expected to suit up for the side for the remainder of the 2017-2018 French Pro A league season after overcoming injury problems.
Ouattara signed to a two way contract with NBA outfit Brooklyn Nets before the start of the season and was assigned to suit up for Brooklyn’s Gatorade League side Long Island Nets.
The 26 year old Guard played just a game for Long Island and never suited up for Brooklyn in the NBA due to an injury riddles campaign.
Ouattara was born in Tepa, Ghana before moving to France with his family and represented the European nation’s under 20 side in 2011.
He was voted to the French League All Star Game before signing with Nets after averaging 11.8 points and 3.3 rebounds per game.
Ghana Center Amida Brimah played for Austin Spurs in the G League helping them to clinch the just ended season title.
