Ghana Center Amida Brimah has maintained his wonderful streak of title wins in his first year by adding the NBA Gatorade League Title in his debut campaign in the league.

Brimah’s Austin Spurs clinched the trophy following a 98-76 win over Raptors 905 in Game 2 of the Finals Series in Canada.

After winning Game One 105-93 at the HEB Center in Austin, Spurs needed another win to sweep this season’s finals series.

The former University of Connecticut Captain won the National Collegiate Championship with the Huskies in his first year in 2013.

Brimah once again played a key role on defense off the bench registering six rebounds, two blocks, an assist and a steal in 20 minutes of action.

He attempted just a shot in the game but his blocks tally was a joint game high mark; Brimah ended the regular season as the op shot blocker.

Shooting Guard Nick Johnson scored a game high 17 points and was named Finals Most Valuable Player for his standout exploits.

Raptors were in the hunt for a second straight G League Title after clinching last season’s trophy with the likes of Pascal Siakam leading the way.
