For the third straight game, RETABET Bilbao Basket lost in Spain’s Endesa League following an 84-96 loss to Estudiantes this weekend.
Ghana Forward Ben Bentil came off the bench and played 17 minutes registering five points, two rebounds and an assist.
He attempted just four shots during his time on the court converting two including a three point shot. The conversion was one of his two attempts.
Bentil has had a difficult time in offense since moving from French side Champagne Chalons-Reims earlier this year; he is attempting fewer shots in games.
Losing to Estudiantes is the team’s third straight loss and keeps them in the lower ranks of the 18 team standings in Spain.
Bilbao Basket has seven wins and 19 losses this season and is ranked 16th while Estudiantes’s win moves them up to twelfth.
RETABET is in action on April 14 against Gran Canaria while Estudiantes play 15th ranked Zaragoza. Bentil is the first Ghana-born player to play in the NBA after his stint with Dallas Mavericks.
