This season tips off on Sunday April 8 at the Tema Community 4 Court; the 2018 campaign is scheduled to end on September 14.
Vikings and Francophone will be involved in the league for the first time since the Tema Basketball League was formed in 2016.
Per reports reaching Basketballghana.com, Vikings has connections with league outfit Teshie Rangers; Francophone played in the preseason competition-Campaign Tournament.
Both teams will be in action in the opening round of the new season on Sunday as they square off in the first game.
Vikings game against Francophone Stars tips off at 15:30 GMT; this season has 10 teams competing for the league crown.
Defending champions Community 4, 2017 Finalist Ashaiman Lions and former league winners Nungua Coldstore headline the roster.
Community 2, Tema Rockets, Teshie Rangers, Akatsi Rifles and Tema Heat round up the roster. Heat is up against Rangers while Lions play Community 2 and C4 play Rifles in the opening rund.
