Ghana Center Amida Brimah and Austin Spurs will be in action later tonight at the HEB Center against South Bay Lakers in the Western Conference Final in the ongoing Gatorade League playoffs.

In his first season with Spurs after graduating from University of Connecticut, the top defender registered 10 points, five rebounds and three blocks in his only game so far in the playoffs.

By topping the Western Conference standings in the regular season, Austin earned a bye in the first round before beating Rio Grande Valley Vipers earlier in the week.

South Bay Lakers earned a trip to the final by clinching a 126-109 win over Reno Bighorns in the second round at the Reno Events Center.

Guards Thomas Bryant and Gary Payton II starred for South Bay registering 33 and 30 points respectively for the travelling team.

G League Defensive Player of the Year nominee Alex Caruso was inactive against Reno while fellow nominee Demarcus Holland played three minutes.

Caruso and Holland came second and third behind Grand Rapids Drive Center Landry Nnoko.
