A significant number of teams that competed in the preliminary stage of this year’s Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges (UPAC) Basketball Championship are set to journey to Ghana’s Ashanti Regional capital, Kumasi for this year’s PUSAG.
The 2018 Private Universities Sports Association Games commences Monday April 2 and ends on April 6 and will be held at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
The multi sports discipline competition is set to have a host of private tertiary institutions in Ghana compete for top accolades.
The basketball competition is one of the most followed disciplines at the games and several teams that played in the just concluded UPAC prelims will be involved.
All Nations University College, KAAF University College, Regent University College and Catholic University College are among the teams set to compete.
The likes of Central University, Radford University College, Pentecost University College, Ghana Technology University College, Islamic University College, Marshalls University College and Garden City University College will b in action as well.
Marshalls are defending champions after winning in 2016 and 2017.
