San Antonio Spurs and Houston Rockets face off later tonight in the NBA in one of the top games in the league as the regular season rounds down.
However, a few hours after the game is concluded, the affiliate sides of the teams will face off for a place in the next stage of the NBA Gatorade League.
Rio Grande Valley Vipers travel to the HEB Center to face Austin Spurs in the second round of the ongoing playoffs.
The game is the first playoff tie for Ghana Center Amida Brimah who is in his first year as a professional after graduating from University of Connecticut last year.
Spurs were not involved in the opening round of the postseason earning a bye after topping the Western Conference.
The team will need to shake off rust early in the game after last featuring in the league on March 27 while Valley Vipers have been quite busy.
Rio Grande beat Texas Legends 107-100 to progress at the expense of the latter.
