Ghana and Austin Spurs Center Amida Brimah has ended the 2017-2018 NBA Gatorade League as the lead shot blocker.
The former University of Connecticut Captain brought his maiden season in the league to an end over the weekend with three blocks.
Those numbers enabled him cement his position atop the standings as the best in rejecting shots as he averaged 2.6 per game.
Brimah added six points and 11 rebounds in Spurs final outing before the postseason commences on March 27.
His final statistical output for the season stands at 6.6 points, 7.4 rebounds and 2.6 blocks in a strong showing on the defensive side in his first run out with the Spurs.
Teammate Matt Costello ranked fourth on the list of top shot blockers in the league as he averaged 2.1 rejections per game.
The duo played a key role to give Austin first place in the Western Conference earning the side a bye in the first round.
Westchester Knicks placed first in the Eastern Conference.
