University of Professional Studies (UPSA) will be in action in Zone 7 of the 2018 Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges (UPAC) Basketball Championship.
Zone 7 games will be played out on Saturday March 24 at the University of Ghana (UG); Marshalls University College, Ghana Technology University College and Islamic University College are in the zone.
Ahead of the zonal games this weekend, Samuel Sasu Adonteng a member of the institution’s Student’s Representative Council has opined the upcoming games will be tough.
Speaking in an interview with Basketballghana.com, Sasu believes the intensity of the UPAC competition is hard to ignore.
“It’s going to be really intense when it comes to UPAC…but if we are able to do our corrections, I think we will do better” he said.
Ahead of Saturday’s games, UPSA organized a one day event in partnership with ROX Energy Drink featuring a host of teams participating in the UPAC Championship.
Marshalls, Ghana Technology and UPSA placed first, second and third respectively and face off tomorrow. UPSA is attempting to qualify from the zone for the first time since 2015.
