Accra Technical University (ATU) Male Basketball Captain Suleman “Big Tyme” Abubakar has shown his deep appreciation of the team’s from the institution by penning a heartfelt message.
The message was read ahead of the team’s final game in Zone of the 2018 Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges (UPAC) Basketball Championship.
The team beat Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) 56-15 to secure top spot in the zone and qualify to the next stage.
Ahead of the game, Abubakar’s message read:
“We (the team) are deeply moved by the expression of confidence from all fans, and we thank you all from the bottom of our heart. We are immensely grateful to the loyal supporters who have generously contributed their time and effort to support us in today’s UPAC qualifiers… we sincerely appreciate your willingness to support the basketball team. Long live ATU Basketball Team. Long live ATU Basketball fans. Long Live Accra Technical University. Long live UPAC”.
ATU beat Valley View University 55-9 and Wisconsin University College 39-23 to win the zone
