Valley View University is one of the three teams competing in Zone 6 of the 2018 Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges (UPAC) Basketball Championship.
However, the team’s experience has amounted to nothing two games into the competition with the side yet to win a game in the event.
Valley View lost 9-55 to Accra Technical University (ATU) in the first game of the zone; ATU is hosting the competition and is aiming to win a third UPAC title.
In the second round, Valley View competed well against Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) but fell 19-31.
The team started out of the gates poorly falling to a double digit deficit at the end of the first half making it difficult for side even after a better showing in the second half.
Valley View improved on its ball movement taking better care of the ball which led to open looks at the rim wwhich the side duly converted.
Valley View play the final round against Wisconsin International University College. Accra Technical takes on GIMPA in the final game of the zone.
