Brimah in action for Spurs
Ghana Center Amida Brimah will no longer partner French Forward Livio Jean-Charles in Austin Spurs frontcourt following the latter’s exit from the NBA Gatorade League side.

Jean-Charles signed with Spanish side Unicaja Malaga earlier today after playing with Spurs for the second time since he was drafted by the team’s NBA affiliate San Antonio in 2013.

San Antonio drafted the former ASVEL Forward 28th overall in 2013 and quickly assigned him to Austin in the G-League.

He moved back to ASVEL and featured in the French Pro League A before this season when he rejoined Austin Spurs.

In 45 games, Jean-Charles averaged 11.3 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.2 assists with 18 games coming as a starter this season.

Unicaja Malaga ranks seventh in the Spanish Liga Endesa with 14 wins and nine losses; the team lost 82-86 in the last round to Fuenlabrada.

Brimah has featured for Spurs after graduating from University of Connecticut and leads the league in blocks; he registered 18 points and 18 rebounds in his last outing.
