Ghana Center Amida Brimah was on fire in Austin Spurs 103-90 win over Iowa Wolves in the NBA Gatorade League earlier today.
The former University of Connecticut Captain starred in the win registering an 18 point, 18 rebound double double.
His point tally trailed only Point Guard Derrick White’s 37 point outing in the game. He added three blocks and a steal.
Brimah converted eight of 11 attempts from the field and was perfect from the charity stripe as he converted two free throw attempts.
He led the game in rebounds and blocks; Brimah leads the league in blocks and has been on the radar of Cleveland Cavaliers after impressing in his maiden season in the Gatorade League.
As an elite rim protector and above the rim athlete with an improving offensive game, Brimah has emerged as a valuable pick for any NBA team.
White missed out on a double double as he added nine assists to his game leading scoring display which also included seven rebounds.
