After three zones, the search for the winner in Zone 4 of this year’s Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges (UPAC) Basketball Championship is set to continue.
This is as a result of the postponement of the decider between Sunyani Technical University (STU) and University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR).
The game had to be moved to Monday March 19 as a result of heavy rain the prevented the final quarter from taking place.
With host STU holding an 18-5 lead at the end of the third quarter of an exciting game between the rivals, strong winds preceded rain that halted proceedings.
The final quarter will be played to officially have Zone 4’s winner as Kintampo College of Health and Catholic University College, Ghana are out of the running.
This also means Sunyani’s long wait for a return to the UPAC National Championship will have to wait till Monday despite taking a commanding lead in today’s marquee matchup.
Zone 5 games will be played at the Kumasi Technical University on Saturday March 17.
