The 2018 Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges (UPAC) Basketball Championship Zonal competition is set to continue this week.

Games in Zones 4 and 5 will be played respectively on Friday March 16 and Saturday March 17 in Sunyani and Kumasi.

Zone 4 will be held at the Sunyani Technical University where the home side will host University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR), Catholic University College, Ghana and Kintampo Health College.

Zone 5 will be held at the Kumasi Technical University (KTU) with the host team in line to take on Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Garden City University College and Christian Service University College.

However, the Ghana University Sports Association (GUSA) contingent in the zones, UENR and KNUST, has dominated the respective zones in previous editions.

With this year’s competition about to commence in a few days, the spotlight will be on UENR and KNUST as either side put its winning streak on the line for a place in the UPAC quarterfinals.

Only zonal winners qualify to the next round.
