The Global Sporting Platform (GSP) Basketball League is heading to a busy weekend with two rounds set to be played.
Week 7 and Week 8 games are set to be played on March 10 and March 11 at the Eusbett Court in Sunyani this weekend.
This is the first time in the 2017-2018 season games will be played in close proximity; league games are played on weekly basis.
The new measure was taken by league management to recognize its midseason break and clear outstanding issues.
Prominent among the outstanding issues to be addressed is midseason trades; teams are eligible to engage in trades.
Teams can make trades after Week 7 games end but the window gets shuts prior to the start of Week 9 on March 29.
After missing out on the first chance to play its maiden game as league leaders; LIR Royals will be in action against Desert Rabbits.
The tie features fourth placed Rabbits against Royals in the top liner of Week 7 after Barracks Scorpions play the opening game against West Siders.
UENR takes on Sunyani Technical University while CUCG Saints play against Suncity Braves.
