Ghana Center Amida Brimah is set to feature for Austin Spurs in the NBA Gatorade League fixture tonight against Reno Big Horns.
The game comes at a time when the former University of Connecticut Captain has been reported to be on Cleveland Cavaliers radar.
The 2016 NBA Champions are in the market for a Center at least on a temporal basis as a fill in for injured starting Center Tristan Thompson.
Power Forward Kevin Love who has played several games this season at the Center position, is also out with a wrist injury.
Brimah has been a consistent performer in his first season with Austin after going undrafted in the 2017 NBA Draft.
Amida leads the Gatorade League in blocks with 2.8 per game and has six points and 7.8 rebounds to his credit.
He is a top rim protector and an elite above the rim player on a low salary who fits the Cavs need for a stop gap solution with a ten day contract.
