Qualification games to the FIBA 2019 World Cup in China have come to an end albeit first phase following the conclusion of fixtures in Groups B and D respectively.

Qualifying games in Group B were played in Mali, Bamako with those in Group D played out in Maputo, Mozambique.

Nigeria topped Group B while Senegal did same in Group D; the pair joins Tunisia and Angola who won Groups A and C respectively.

All four teams head to the next phase of qualification due to commence in June this year; like the first round, teams in Group A and Group D get to play first.

Teams in Groups B and D will commence in August before the second phase of qualification kicks in to determine five teams that will represent the continent in China next year.

The top three teams in each group after August make it to Phase 2 of the qualifiers to battle for a spot at the 2019 World Cup.
