The battle for the Global Sporting Platform (GSP) Basketball League standings top spot has developed into a three way contest.
Following the latest round of games played over the past weekend, former league champions Suncity Braves and University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR) are in familiar positions at the top.
The pair has been joined by LIR Royals on 11 points following its shock win over UENR at the Eusbett Court in Sunyani.
Royals stunned the yet to be beaten UENR side courtesy a 23-18 result to lead the standings after Week 6 due to a superior goal difference.
Braves overcame a first half loss to beat Barracks Scorpions 49-20 to equal Royals and UENR’s number of wins (5) for the season.
However, Suncity has the least number of goals between the three sides and maintain its third place rankings heading to Week 7.
