Global Sporting Platform (GSP) Basketball League outfit West Siders has plummeted to the basement of the league following the last round of games played over the past weekend.

West Siders failed to appear for its game against Desert Rabbits at the Eusbett Court in Sunyani leading to a forfeiture of the tie.

Rabbits in the process, earned a win with a 20 point difference to clinch fourth win in six games played this season.

The ruling has since sent West Siders to the bottom of the eight team standings despite West Siders holding a better record than seventh placed side Catholic University College, Ghana (CUCG) Saints.

The Saints are yet to win a game this campaign and suffered a sixth straight loss after falling 7-49 to Sunyani Technical University (STU) in the last round.

Saints have amassed six points thus far in the campaign with West Siders clinching five points to place eighth ahead of Week 7 games.
