Ghana Forward Ben Bentil has successfully passed his medical examinations for new club RETABET Bilbao Basket in Spain.
The procedure took place after the team announced his capture following his 20 game stint with French side Champagne Chalons Reims.
The medicals took place at the club’s medical facility in Zorrotzaurre and the 6 foot 9 inch player was taken through several checks.
Bilbao signed Bentil after he averaged 11.7 points and 4.8 rebounds in 20 appearances; days before leaving Frances, Bentil’s time on the court dropped sharply.
This is the Sekondi born player’s fifth club in his short time as a professional since getting drafted by NBA side Boston Celtics 51st overall in 2016.
He has played for Dallas Mavericks, Fort Wayne Mad Ants in the NBA Gatorade League and Guanghui Xinjiang Flying Tigers in China.
Bilbao lie 16th on the 18 team standings led by Real Madrid and is in need of Bentil’s versatile skills as a Power Forward and Small Forward.
He played two seasons for Providence College before getting drafted.
