After playing in the Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges (UPAC) Basketball Championship for University of Education-Winneba (UEW), Shooting Guard Benjamin Debrah will compete for Marshalls University College in this year’s edition.

The former Oda Senior High School sensation who plays for Ghana Police enrolled at Marshalls after graduating from UEW a few years back.

During his time in Winneba, the team missed out on winning the UPAC title after falling to Accra Technical University in the finals.

Debrah was enlisted to play in last year’s Championship but couldn’t do so since he didn’t play in the preliminary stages.

Marshalls rode all the way to the final game but lost 21-45 and were thoroughly outplayed by winners University of Ghana (UG).

However, Debrah is set to play for Marshalls this year as it attempts to go a step further than it managed last season.

Marshalls have been placed in Zone 7 alongside Islamic University and Ghana Technology University Colleges respectively and University of Professional Studies (UPSA).
