Provision of education opportunities will be a vital part of the upcoming “B-Ball Challenge” reality show Basketballghana.com can confirm.
The basketball show which is due to commence in May this year is the first of its kind in Ghana and is expected to turn heads.
Organizers of the program, Rite Sports Limited, have a lot of provisions to ensure educating contestants is the utmost priority.
Chief Executive Officer of Rite Sports, Yaw Sakyi Afari, stated this in an interview with Ghana’s leading hoops portal opining:
“Unlike other Reality Shows seen in Ghana, the B-BALL Challenge focuses on improving the skill-set of these players and to provide educational opportunities for them”.
40 standout players from January’s Sprite Ball Championship have been selected to the primary list ahead of workouts which will trim the number to 24.
Selected players will be housed throughout August where they will receive training from Coaches and other sectors in athlete professionalism.
Weekly evictions will be conducted and the top five players will be handed prizes including educational scholarships and cash incentives.
