With both teams well rested ahead of the fixture due to a lengthy break, Texas Legends and Austin Spurs played out a high scoring game in the NBA Gatorade League.
Spurs with Ghana Center Amida Brimah on the roster, lost 123-134 to Texas Legends early this morning in a showdown between the Texas pair.
The loss is Austin’s 15th of the season with the team clinching 24 wins to lead the Western Conference; Texas on the other hand has 23 win and 16 losses.
Brimah ended the game with eight points, six rebounds, two blocks and an assist in 22 minutes off the bench for Spurs.
Amida leads the league in blocked shots and paced the game in the category with a pair of blocks; despite the low number, it was an improvement on his last performance where he didn’t register any blocks.
NBA G League All Stars Jamaal Warney of Legends and Darrun Hilliard of Austin top scored for their teams with 33 and 31 points respectively.
