After a two month break, league games in the league were honored at the Eusbett Court in Sunyani with Braves getting matters going courtesy a 45-28 win over West Siders.
This was the first game of the 2017-2018 second round involving former league winner Braves which is due to end on April 28 at the same venue.
In the second game, league leaders and defending champions University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR) extended its winning streak to five games.
The side blew out Barracks Scorpions 34-9 to win its fifth game in a row and maintain its grip at the summit of the standings.
Desert Rabbits played out a low scoring game against Sunyani Technical University as Rabbits won the contest 17-12.
The final between LIR Royals and Catholic University College, Ghana (CUCG) Saints ended in a 43-15 win for LIR.
