Marshalls University College is set to defend its Private Universities Sports Association Games (PUSAG) Basketball titles on April 2.
Information reaching Basketballghana.com indicates the 2018 edition of PUSAG commences on April 2 and ends on Friday April 6.
The multi sport event will be held in Kumasi with a bevy of Private Tertiary institutions in Ghana in line to participate in disciplines including volleyball and table tennis.
The most patronized event, basketball, is expected to have a large following with 2016 and 2017 Champions Marshalls in line for a third straight title.
Marshalls has been dominant in recent years managing to beat Islamic University College and Radford University College to the trophy.
The target for this year’s competition according to Marshalls Coach James Okine is to crown the dominant period with a third straight title.
Aside Islamic and Radford, Ghana Technology University College is a strong contender after impressing in previous editions.
Last year’s event was held in Cape-Coast with majority of the disciplines staged at the Robert Mensah Stadium.
