After staying away from the first warm up competition organized by Tema Basketball League Executives, Nungua Coldstore and Tema Community 4 are set to play in an upcoming tune up game.
Both teams are listed among sides to compete in the Battle Ground Tournament later this week at Tema’s Community 4 Court.
The final warm up competition tips off on Sunday February 18 and ends on March 11 with eight teams due to feature in the three week long tourney.
2016 Tema League Champions Coldstore did not participate in the first warm up competition as a result of arrangements to address internal issues.
2017 League winners Community 4 declined the invitation and cited fatigue from a long and rigorous season as the reason.
With both teams present in the competition’s roster, the upcoming event will have the past two winners of Tema’s flagship tournament.
Ghana Police, Ashaiman Lions, Tema Heat, Tema Community 2, Teshie Rangers and Akatsi Rifles will compete against the duo.
This year’s league is reportedly set for tip off in the final week in March.
