The competition is organized by the Tema Basketball League Board ahead of this year’s league campaign which is slated to tip off in the latter part of March.
This year’s campaign will be the third since league games began in 2016 with Nungua Coldstore clinching the title via 2-0 series win over Ashaiman Lions.
However, the tune up competition for the league, Battle Ground, is set to end on March 11 following three weeks of competition.
Games will be played to determine the top sides in two groups in the preliminary stage before the final game on March 11.
A deep roster has been listed to play in the tournament including defending league champions Tema Community 4 and former league winners Coldstore.
Lions, Ghana Police, Akatsi Rifles, Tema Heat and Tema Communities 2 and 4 respectively are the remaining members of the roster.
