Austin Spurs will be in action tonight in the NBA Gatorade League against Rio Grande Valley Vipers in another tough tie for Austin.
Spurs will be seeking to extend its winning run and maintain its first position in the Western Conference standings in the regular season.
However for Ghanaian Center Amida Brimah, tonight’s game represents a chance to bounce back from a poor showing in Austin’s last game.
The highly rated defender registered three points and eight rebounds against Iowa Wolves which Spurs won 114-112.
Brimah leads the league in blocks with a 2.8 average per game but recorded no blocks in the win on Thursday at the HEB Center.
Spurs can count on its impressive form away from home (12 wins and five losses) to score a win against a poor home side in Vipers who have eight wins and 10 losses this season.
Following a two point win over third ranked Wolves, the team plays sixth ranked Vipers before taking on Wolves again on Sunday.
