Emmanuel Mudiay
Devin Harris will suit up for Denver
Democratic Republic of Congo Point Guard Emmanuel Mudiay has been traded to the New York Knicks from Denver Nuggets.

The Nuggets drafted the 6 foot 4 inch Guard in 2014 with the number 7 overall pick and was averaging 8.5 points and 2.9 assists in 17.9 minutes.

This is his fourth season in the league and has seen him lose his starting position to Jamaal Murray and Gary Harris in Denver’s backcourt this season.

Mudiay arrives in New York in a three team deal that sent Doug McDermott to Dallas Mavericks and Devin Harris to Denver.

The move took place on the NBA Trade deadline on Thursday, February 8 with a couple of teams notably Cleveland Cavaliers getting involved.

Though raised in the United States of America, Mudiay was born in Congo and moved to the US with his family at the age of seven.

He was scheduled to feature at the 2017 FIBA Africa Championship in Tunisia with Orlando Magic Center Bismarck Biyombo before both players withdrew.

Mudiay skipped to play a season in the Chinese before getting drafted.
