Per reports reaching Basketballghana.com, the two sides are said to be in talks over a friendly matchup on Saturday February 10.
Should the proposed game go on as planned, it will be played at CUCG Saints court in Sunyani meaning UENR will be leaving the comfort of its famous home court.
The timing of the game is interesting considering the second half of the 2017-2018 GSP League season commences exactly a week after the planned matchup.
The league’s second round tips off on February 17 at the Eusbett Court with all competing teams in the division (eight) featuring in the round.
The tertiary sides are included in the lineup with defending league champions UENR taking on Barracks Scorpions I the second game of the round.
CUCG Saints will be involved in the opening game as it takes on West Siders.
